Building A Scaffold for Democracy explores the language and concerns that underpin urban planning theory by using sculptural, poetic and philosophical processes. For Platform Public Contemporary Art Spaces, each window box contained a sculptural ‘call and response’, whereby a series of words were combined with a combination of objects, drawing out some of the relationships between urban planning dialectics and spatial art practices.
