Neighbourhood Score was developed during a six-week online collaboration between ten artists from Australia, Japan, and Serbia, organised by the Chojamachi School of Arts as part of the Aichi Triennale 2025.

Over the course of the collaboration, I collected fragments from the group’s online meetings and exchanges — transcribed sounds, conversational slippages, instructions that were also apologies, descriptions that were also scores. These became a series of vinyl text works distributed throughout the gallery, positioned in relation to the architecture and to the other artists’ works. The texts behave like signage while withholding the function of signage — finding accidental adjacencies, frictions, and moments where the space itself becomes readable as a poem.
